With our best ever highest attendance of 160, Judy Murray brought us an inspirational, funny, and informative story of her life as a Mum and tennis coach to sons Jamie and Andy. The events described were compelling and fierce within this male-dominated world. Against all odds, she persevered. As a single Mum, with no car, no income, Judy created an environment for her sons to train, practice, and eventually compete all over Scotland and eventually all over the world. All her hard work paid off with Jamie and Andy winning several matches, to ultimate victory for Andy.
With a current membership of over 200 we are a diverse group of British and expat women who currently call Berkshire/Surrey home.
The fundamental reasons for the Club’s existence remain the same as they did when it first launched 36 years ago: to make friends (who become like family), to establish a strong network in the area, learn about the host country, and share similar interests.
