Have you ever celebrated Burns night? This month we’ll hear from the producer Robbie Moffat, a published poet and Burns night expert, who will tell us how it’s done. From eating a traditional Scottish meal and drinking Scotch whisky to reciting the poet’s works and offering a toast to the Lassies, a Burns supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, held on or around the poet’s birthday, the 25th of January.
Afterwards, please join us for a ‘Meet and Eat’ at Wentworth Club. No jeans or trainers please, as there is a dress code at the club.
There is plenty of free parking.
